Sorry about the large gap between posts. Here's another piece from my senior project for your viewing pleasure. I'm going to be crossposting from DA because I've noticed that blogger just eats my chalky textures. :/

Senior Project Process Post! (SP3)

The first image in the set. This picture was a test of my painting skills, my skills with lighting, and an experiment in digital linework. It is the only lineless image in my senior project that I feel is completely successful. I might not even rework this one when I go back and ink it, but we'll see.

As you can see, the Endaeyn design has changed yet again. I like this one a lot better. It's still strong and expressive, but it looks more alien and has better gender dimorphism that does not draw from human physiology (discounting the humanoid structure, of course.)

Better yet, the girls are no longer green-skinned space babes! Which is fabulous, because TITS IN SPACE has become my number 1 science fiction pet peeve.
